Portrait of a man with a beard wearing a black shirt and gold chain necklace against a dark background.

I’m House, a documentary, lifestyle, and street photographer based in Palmyra, Virginia.

I pick up my camera to capture real life artfully

I am originally from Miami, Florida. At nineteen I joined the Marine Corps, and during that chapter I met my wife, who has been my steady center ever since. In 2013 we moved to the island of Guam, and that is where I began photographing life as it was actually happening.

By 2019 I was documenting my own family, paying close attention to the in between moments that most people miss. The quiet looks, the small gestures, the real expressions that show up when nobody is trying to impress anyone. That instinct shaped the way I photograph every client today.

To me, portraits are records, not productions. The aim is not polish. It is photographs that hold meaning and still feel like you years from now.

When I am not photographing, I also work as a Realtor in Central Virginia, and I coach youth basketball in my community. I work throughout Central Virginia and beyond. You will usually find me with a camera nearby, making photos and short videos from everyday life.
